Vicki Serrano

Professor & Kids Instructor

Vicki Serrano is a first degree black belt under Professor Ricardo Evangelista, and has been training with Maozinha BJJ since 2022. After beginning her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training in 2008 with her mother and brother, she continues to train and compete as a family, now including her two daughters. She is an avid supporter of Women’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and is an advocate of both the Houston Femme BJJ and Girls in Gis organizations.

Vicki began assistant teaching youth classes as a teenager in 2009, and began leading classes in 2015. She now currently teaches our Tiny Tots (ages 3-4) youth BJJ program.

Not only does Vicki have an extensive background in teaching, but she is also an active competitor, and is a multiple time medalist at both IBJJF Opens and local competitions.

Her passion is to teach and help anyone or everyone, and is known for teaching and competing throughout the Houston-area.
